We promoted their latest 2023 report ‘European Citizens and Intellectual Property: Perception, Awareness and Behaviour’ to key publications within the Irish market

The Challenge

The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) worked with We the People in order to promote their latest 2023 report ‘European Citizens and Intellectual Property: Perception, Awareness and Behaviour’ to key publications within the Irish market. As part of this work, WTP worked to develop a plan to prioritise targeting key outlets in Ireland across print, digital and radio.

The Approach

We the People created a list of priority media targets in Ireland in order to effectively target the biggest and most relevant outlets in Ireland. Using key statistics from the study, we reached out to trade, national and regional press across Ireland to achieve the most effective reach possible. Working with representatives from the EUIPO we pitched interviews and features to major press across Ireland.

The Results

The campaign generated X pieces of coverage across national press. The report was featured across all the national outlets including RTE, The Independent and The Examiner. The report was also successful with more specialist Irish press including Buzz.ie, TopRated.ie and Law Society Gazette Ireland.
